"Uncharted Territory"

Inspirations:

-While painting this piece, I was in a transition life phase and had questions about where it would lead me. I applied a dark glaze to transform a previous painting on this canvas, shifting its orientation to vertical. I was captivated by how the black drips on either side took on the appearance of earthy elements, almost forming a portal leading to the lighter background. Could the answers to my questions lie beyond this curtain-like gateway structure? The dark color palette not only conveys uncertainty but also extends an invitation to embrace the unknown, marked by the beautiful shades of color crackling through the chaos.
